Thank you so much! If you haven't seen the movie, you should take two hours out of your busy schedule to see it and let me know what you think. I'm really proud of it but all of this buzz is total madness. It's kind of overwhelming but exciting at the same time, you know? I think it could be anyone's game at the Globes and the SAGs, I've got some stiff competition with Julianne Moore for Still Alice and Layla Greer in Gone Girl. BTW, I'll be in New York for the foreseeable future after I get back from Toronto for the holidays. If you're ever in the Big Apple, let me know and we'll do lunch.

Now that I got that out of my system.. I guess I should get to the point of this e-mail before you think someone has died (no one has died)..I just tried to text you five times and had way too many typos. Have I mentioned how much I hate touch screens?

Anyway, I know it's been a few months since we've talked but I just want to let you know how truly proud I am of you. I can't think of anyone who's more deserving of all of these nominations and if anything I think it's really a reflection of how bad ass and determined you've been over these years. Your work ethic is fucking INTENSE and I always knew this would be a part of your career. I'm just grateful to still call you one of my best friends.

You need to pick up your phone when I call. It's been two weeks since Thanksgiving and I'm starting to worry about you. I understand you're upset about what happened at dinner. We all are. Why is it so hard for you to grasp that? I know things are difficult between you and your father, but what I saw wasn't the man I raised and am so very proud of. You're upset but it's the holidays. We don't have to talk about what happened. I would just like you to at least meet me halfway here so it's easier for us all.

I tell everyone of your accomplishments, and how proud I am of you and the kind, generous, and intelligent man you've become. It took us a long time to get there, and I've always been in your corner, and still am. There's only so much I can do here.

It's that time of year where i invite myself over to the cabin. We need to break out the booze and cards of humanity before the year ends. Aside from the stop in Brooklyn, and the wedding we'll be in NY for NYE. Way too many east coast stops without us getting up to some shit. When's the baby coming? I need to send our gift.

Here's the deal. I spoke with the staff at the Maritime Hotel and both my team and theirs is able to accommodate the full menu, so that's not a worry as it once was. We'll be arriving around 2 pm to set everything up. Everything looks like it's all set but just as a precaution give me a call so we can go over everything you want for the night again.
